Custom HASA (Highly Accelerated Stress Audit) and Environmental Chamber Test Fixture is an ultra-specialised validation platform built to endure simultaneous thermal and mechanical stress. To guarantee electronics can survive extreme field conditions, testing profiles require boards to undergo violent mechanical shaking while concurrently being driven up and down aggressive temperature spectrums. Designing a fixture for this environment introduces a major engineering challenge: mismatched thermal expansion can cause the fixture to fight the PCB, resulting in bent test pins, broken traces, or false failures.
This fixture eliminates artificial testing stresses by utilising specialised composite and structural materials with a Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) precisely matched to the PCB. This ensures that as the temperature swings rapidly from extreme sub-zero cold to intense heat, both the fixture and the circuit board expand and contract at the same rate. This preserves perfect alignment, prevents board warping, and guarantees that every test probe remains centred on its microscopic test pad throughout active vibration cycles.
